Which hotel is closest to Texas Treasure Casino?

Just moved here and basically what I have seen is you need to take the ferry to get to the casino boat and I do not remember seeing any hotels anywhere near that side (basically you take the ferry from Port A across the water towards Aransas Pass and the entrance for the cruise is right after the exit from the ferry)

If you have transportation I would suggest renting a condo on the beach at their winter rates. There are tons of them all along like a 10 - 15 mile strip until you get into town. There are a bunch of hotels like Days Inn or Best Westerns, a lot on the beach.

When will you be down? Next time I drive to the ferry I can tell you exactly what hotels are in walking distance to the ferry(on the Port A side) if that helps. email me if you want to know all about this nice island :)

I do know that they are offering $10 days right now on the Texas Treasure and from what I heard it's worth it for the buffet. We have only been here for two weeks and been busy looking for a job and setting up the kids in school so have not had much time to do all that much sight seeing.

The closest is probably Tropic Island Motel and RV Park, but there are others that may have features you might also enjoy.
