How many people have actually touched or seen an elephant - in real life (not in a zoo, on TV/Movie/book)?

    I've ridden one at the circus and I rode another while on vacation in Cambodia.

    Well dude, I've ridden on one though. Furthermore, it was an open zoo where everyone has the chance and opportunity to have a photo taking session with them though.

    No, not in real life (except, as you mentioned, at the zoo).

    is a circus okay,we have them come thru once a year and we were allowed to pat one..cheers(sad to see chains on them,actually their eyes look very sad)
