How Many of You Remember Death Valley Days?

I do, I do.....narrated by Ronald Reagan. I remember Rosemary DeCamp. Once returning to Arizona from Oregon I stopped in Boron, California. They have a free museum there with all the Death Valley Days memorabilia. Talk about nostalgia, it was great. What a neat memory....thanks

EDIT: I also went to Death Valley at another time. It wasn't that bad, maybe 105F or so. Went to Scotties Castle and also the lowest spot in USA(Bad Water Basin). Couple hundred feet below sea level. There is a very nice stark beauty to the area.

Scotties Castle was built by a well to do guy, I think from the Chicago area. He liked to spend his winters there. Had a little electric generator powered by water he pipied down from a hillside spring.

I remember Death Valley Days and the Borax commercial. I don't remember Yancy Derringer or I Remember Mama on TV. I have seen the movie I Remember Mama though.

Not sure about Rosemary DeCamp, can't find a picture of her.

Oh, yes. "I Remember Mama", was one of my favorite TV

programs. It was about a Swedish family in San Francisco. The daughter was named Dagmar. I do also remember "Death Valley Days", and the 20 Mule Team Borax ads. Rosemary De Camp had been a friend of my mother's, and every time that ad came on, we had to watch it.

Yes, I recall Ronnie Reagan w/Death Valley Days. One lousy actor, fer sure - who knew the American public would be foolish enough to elect him President.....unbelievable!!!

Yancy Derringer? Had such a crush on him. I think he was played by Zachary Scott who ended up being Sally Field's stepfather later.

I remember Mama wasn't a big hit in our house. Living in the mountains of Southern Oregon, in the Rogue River Valley, we really couldn't relate to the show as it's premise was totally foreign to us.......but the Westerns and Cowboys......those were great.

remember all of them, Rosemary was fun..I remember mama was smatzy, and 20 mule team was....well, deriviative, to say the least. BUT how may of you can say you have BEEN in Death Valley, temperature of 122 degrees, stopping to ... no other way to say it... pee, and have your flesh feel as if it were on fire...we are talking some seriously delicate flesh here! This is not the most pleasant place I can think of any time of the year, but in July, only insane people pass through it. ...need I say more? Phil

Yes I remember . Wasn't it on after John F. Kennedy's "Profiles In Courage"? Rosemary DeCamp also played Marlo Thomas' mother on " That Girl" .....

I remember them all. Nils was in Mama,and I think Lars.I always loves Rosemary DeCamp, she was so good in Yankee Doodle Dandy with James Cagney.
