What Is The Worst Mainsteam Fashion Trend?

What do you believe is the worst fashion trend out there today? I want to know about mainstream trends. Not things like all black cothing of the gotic subculture or Emo hair. Just the things you see on every day people.

My least favorite trends are those sweat pants that have words printed across the butt and the really big round plastic sunglasses that cover up half the face.

What is out there that you don't like?

Update:

I was going to put Crocs, socks with sandals and Uggs but I wanted to leave some disasters for others. :) I do have to say that black and brown can work together if paired correctly. But I agree with what you are all saying.

    i say uggs are ugly

    crocs are icky

and who wants words jiggling across ur butt?

i think big sunglasses r cute if u can pull them off though

i actually think one of the worst fads lately is the obsession with preppy brands (hollister etc) whose stuff is cute but if its ALL ppl wear that shows no sense of style or individuality

    its annoying!

Yeah, it attracts attention to the butt! (The sweat pants with words on them) Haha!

Uhm well for me it's socks with sandals. And people who wear black and brown together. Black, to me, goes with every colour EXCEPT brown!

    ~Edit.~

YES! To everyone who is saying crocs.. I tottally agree with you too!

I agree with the sunglasses. I hate the "dress shorts" Those paired with High heels and the stupid cropped jackets make me want to gag.

    EDIT:I also agree with Stef

I also should add crocks to the list, along with uggs.Fugily!

i think the wide leg pants are hideous. and so are crocs. ew. but its OK if like toddlers wear them i guess.

i understand a lotta people dont like ballet flats, huge sunglasses, skinny jeans, uggs and the sweat pants with words, but i love them!!!

    Where do I start...

    Crocs

    Uggs

    Babydoll stuff

The look of a hoodie, skinny jeans, hair in a ponytail then a wide headband, and Converse

    The big sunglasses

Sweatpants and pajama pants being worn outside the house

Uggs, Crocs, and orange girls with platinum blonde hair.

I actually like the big sunglasses, those sweatpants are gross especially when girls wear them like halfway down their butt and then they have that messy hairdo that looks like a sloppy ponytail, it just makes them look bummy and like they don't care about their apperenace. crocs are nasty too,

Those big round sunglasses, Crocks, Uggs, those flats, those like dresses that are coming back in to style, the whole "urban" or whatever you wanna call it look. Haha, a lot of things actually.

    crocs.

    they're disgusting.

i can understand if you're wearing them around the pool or garden, but otherwise, they look ridiculous.

The ugly sunglasses you mentioned, the 1970s prints which are a mix of purple, brown and green swirls, the babydoll tops which people are supposed to wear as everyday clothes when they look like disco wear, sandals (impractical and silly-looking in the rain), fake fur edging on parkas for girls, jeans (all of them - I am sick of seeing them on everyone regardless of age and weight), outsize purses that weigh a ton when they are empty, plastic necklaces and bangles.
