Good and bad days in tennis???

hi :-)

well they say that in tennis there are some bad days in which you can't play the best possible way ,all you do is unforced errors, you're out of concentration and all that is not actually your fault.Today I had a bad day and lost 6:2 6:0 when I could have one 6:0 6:0 because my opponent was duffer(nothing personal). Are bad days a myth or they truly exist???

Oh Baby bad days do exist. Take my word for it.

I would loose matches to people that had no right beating me because I beat myself. Mental concentration was off. Didn't stretch or warm-up enough. Wasn't focused on the match. Many explanations or reasons for poor performance in athletics. Especially for non Professionals. The Pro's find a way to overcome it and be Professional in every match. Well most do anyways. Except the ones that bet on the other guy and then tank a match to make some big money or do the Russian mob a favour.

But even good or great Pro's loose matches upon occassion. Take the Brian bros. or Nadal or Fed or Maria they all have lost matches they should not have. Can't be a robot out there ... even Justine looses once or twice. Giving it your all is all that you can do.

Hey Sunny! No question you and every tennis player out there will have good and bad days. And that goes for every athlete and person in sport and life. We can't all be in the zone all the time and sometimes there's just no good answer for why we play so poorly.

The most important thing to do is to keep everything in perspective. Luckily, our passion is only a game and a bad day means you learn from your mistakes and better yourself for the next match/tournament. If you're an attorney and you have a bad day, someone can lose enormous amounts of money. If you're a gambler, you can lose your life savings. And if you're a doctor and you have a bad day, the results can be fatal.

Just put it all in perspective, count your blessings and keep swinging for the lines.

And keep your eye on the ball!

bad days do exist. When the pros have a bad day with their game especially when they make unforced errors, they try to push the sets into tiebrakers by using all their energy into winning their service games. Take for example, Djokovic during the us open. He was having a bad day so he only tried to win his service game so it went into tiebrakers

There are days where you can not get a rhythm and feel like you can not focus or hit the way you want. Other days you get into a groove and feel unbeatable. I have experienced both.
