Trade Steve Francis???
i am a rockets fan and a Steve Francis fan, but the rockets NEED to trade him...he does not deserve to be the 12th man on the rockets bench, he can go out and be a starter anywhere else....The rockets should respect him and allow him to PLAY somewhere else bc apparently he does not fit into Rick Adelmans plan....
thoughts???

You are right, he deserves much better than what is going on in houston. Here is the problem nobody would give SQUAT for him. He is no longer a starter caliber player (unless it's a horrible team with no PG). He sohuld be on a team where he can come off the bench and give quality minutes (20 per game). He also would be a great player to have in case of an injury. Like I said he not a starter, but he could take the helm for a few games and be servicable.
Hate to say it but his name has value, and there are some teams that could use this to there benifit.
Its to bad what the Knicks did to him and a lot of great players. Notice all the good guys who go there and they are garbage afterwards?

Houston is too loaded at PG. I like/ respect Steve but he is obviously not playing well if Coach Adelman is sitting him. Remember Adelman had Mike Bibby as a PG before he knows a good PG. I think we could get a consistent starter if we traded Steve and Rafer Alston. Alston gets in so much legal trouble that most teams won't put up with that. Like any team after about 10-12 games they will all come to life and make the game more fun. Steve does need time to get into shape. He will get minutes. Someone gets hurt. Hold on Steve and don't cause your team any drama!

i've got faith on the time 2 years in the past the commerce became great for the rockets. Howevfer, we on no account have extremely seen T-Mac wreck out into an All megastar participant in th erocket purple. He has consistently been injured and has been a cap difficulty for them contained in the loose business enterprise industry. Orlando is the winner now on account that they have been able to pass Francis to the Knicks and income some reasonalby priced gamers who're leaders for the extra youthful Magic(Jameer Nelson, Hedo Turkalu) Now the Magic seem lieka team which would be prized for a identify contained in the subsequent 5 years with superfreak Dwight Howard and JJ Redick

Steve francis is over rated. he never built on his game. the rockets need a pg that will pass the ball and make the offense flow, francis isnt that player. look at his past: trade for t-mac (cant blame him) then traded to NY for Ariza(Steve trade value died on that day) on the knicks he was always hurt and was never on page wit thomas. then portland dumped him. on the same note i feel that teh rockets should trade him to a team that will give him minutes. Clippers, Heat, Cavs, maybe even Boston could use him. all these teams could use a pg.

Stop crying like a punk! I heard all of you rocket yelling for Francis to get into the game. If he can't crack the rotation then he does not need to play. If he was the that good he would still be with the knicks or Magic. He does not fit because he came out of shape. That is why Houston will always suck! Another first round exit.

Francis was overrated from the first day Houston decided to take him in.
I could not believe they let him back in Houston. He was a toxic influence on the team before and if the coach plays him, in spite of his being outplayed by every other PG on the team in the pre-season, can only poison what is a very good team now.
You should take a few more hits on whatever you were smoking and go lay down.

yeah i agree!they need to get rid of rafer alston too!he's not that great either.they should start mike james and give aaron brooks a chance off the bench.plus steve francis is already whining like he earned a chance to play which he didn't!anyway GO ROCKETS!3-0 BABY!michael h who is ur team homo!the rockets rule.

Give it some time, I think Steve Francis will get a chance, then it will be up to him to make use of the oppertunity. PG is a tough position to learn on a new team. Let him show himself in practice. He'll play if he earns it.

Its not that the Rockets dont respect him,i think his a great player, and he should get mintues, but he didnt come into training camp in shape,he try to play him self in shape and untill he does get in shape then Coach aldeman will let him get minutes,Steve has talked to coach and already knows what he has to do,every thing will get better as the season goes on..... Hopefully ..Dun ,dun .dun ( echoy sound)

He is in this situation because he never learned how to share the ball and his attitude put him on the bench since he did not improve his game every year - he is lucky to have a job at this point!
