I liked Sahara, Treasure was great and I am now reading Inca Gold which is probably his best in quite a while. Which is why I haven't been here all day answering questions. I also went to the bookstore and bought the first book in the series by Paul Christopher with his heroine Flin Ryan. Mistakenly bought book three first. And am anxiously awaiting book four. If you like Clive though, you have to, and I mean this sincerely, you have to read Matthew Reilly. He is in my humble opinion the greatest thriller writer on the planet today. Check out his website. Another guy, whom Clive Cussler himself has endorsed is Jack DuBrul and all of his books are really decent reads. Have fun and enjoy!!

I certainly have been wending my way with the aid of countless LincolnChild/DouglasPreston books. I regularly examine the Clive Cussler books as they arrive out and yeah they seem to be a formulation yet taken separately over the years they're astounding.

To be brutally honest, I didn't enjoy them that much. The reasons are that there is either something seriously outlandish in the story such as the matter transfer suitcase, or that Clive Cussler always shows up on his Chinese junk to save the day. Tom Clancy is, in my opinion, is better.

I have read a few of his books. I like the way he writes himself into some of the stories. Sahara was the last one I read and I agree, Hollywood has messed up a lot of his and other writers books.

His fiction starring Dirk Pitt is pretty good but the REAL LIFE stuff is also fascinating...

    Trains disappearing in Colorado....

    The Sea Hunters.....

Too bad the Hollyweird people screwed with the story lines.

The same thing happened with Tom Clancy.....8P....

Krasny Oktyabr was the only good one....

Source(s): You name it, I got it....In paperback & hard cover

I liked Raise the Titanic, and Atlantis Found. I tend to go for the Dirk Pitt stories.

I haven't read his books but I watch "The Sea Hunters" whenever they are on. The divers are Canadian on that show.
