Spiffs -
It doesn't matter what it's about
All I am saying, is that -
This statement is false.
Is that statement that I made (This statement is false) true or false?
You're getting 2 into it.
Opps. Ok. I spelled it fasle. My brain processes to fast for my fingers. The CORRECT ANSWER (TAKEN FROM A LOGIC BOOK) WOULD BE NEITHER.
THIS STATEMENT IS FALSE. IF YOU SAY IT IS FALSE AGAIN, YOU ARE CONTRADICTING YOURSELF. IT CAN'T BE FALSE, B/C IT IS FALSE. YOU CAN FALSE A FALSE. THAT IS A DOUBLE NEGATIVE. OTHER OPTION IS TRUE. WELL. SIMPLY, IT'S NOT TRUE B/C IT IS FALSE. SO THERE. yes it was vague, but deal with it. Correct answer neither. Spiffs, you are wrong. Face it, you get to into it. its supposed to be a fun lateral thinkin puzzle

You aren't making a complete statement, it can't be true or false. What is the subject of that which is true or false? You have excluded it here.
Take a formal class in logic. Your making an incoherant statement of which neither the truth or falsity can be objectively established. Even the linguistic structure of the sentence is incomplete therefore no one can give you an answer. Is the answer in your head? Something you have imagined? Certainly its nothing any of us can determine. If you want us to play along you have to give us more to chew on. Your not stating anything which can be true or false.
Example: This statement (what statement, there is no statement) is true or false. = INCOHERANT, word play.
Oh, and you spelled it Fasle. What is a "Fasle"?

Your statement is true, "This statement is FASLE."
If it were false you would have spelled it that way instead of "fasle".

It only makes sense if you label it irrelevant or meaningless. Otherwise it is a paradox.
