Magical, captures your eye in an interesting way...my nana uses that term A LOT! lol :D say if we went to the circus and a man was galloping round on a horse at 100mph whilst doing back flips, my nana would say 'wow, isn't that ceiling enchanting the way it slopes?' lmao something completely irrelevent!

The first thing that came to mind was imbuing an object with specific energy designed to either transmit or attract the desired results ("enchanted sword")

What the word truly meant was to captivate some by chanting, either by words or music.
Just with entrancing meant the lighty hypnotise.

"placing a 'glamoury' on something." (an action, much like mithril's answer. A glamoury is a kind of illusion, it's "used" in the lay of the last minstral)
