from what I'm seeing it has all those things mentioned 2g ram, and 256 on the video card...am i looking at it wrong?

This won't do. First off, you will need something with a good video card. 128mb or 256mb. Then, you will want at least 1gb of memory, but more likely 2gb. This laptop is way overpriced.
