What movie - with elephant & boy at the start of movie?

Question

Movie from India I think.
I saw the intro while i was waiting for the ferry boat. It starts with a boy saying he wants to be an imperial bodyguard or something, then theres a scene with a baby elephant on a truck & they are going through a crowd.
I don't know what language but there's english sub. I just saw a short part but now it won't get out of my head.

Im not really sure this answer, anyway its "Ong bak" a thai movie saving the life of elephants, Ongbak released lat 2005.

There was a show called "Maya". Think it was made into a movie. Don't know if the boy wanted to be a guard though. Hope you find the one you want.
