pre school teachers...can u please help???
i need very simple art project ideas AND 2-4 ingredient food or snack ideas for thanksgiving/fall for 3-4 year olds....SOON.....please help w any ideas....we already traced hands to make turkeys....no peanut products either.....THANKS!!

OK just mom of 4 here.
ole fashioned I know
ENGLISH MUFFIN PIZZAS:
English muffin
good canned pizza sauce
cheese
pepperoni or types of veggies whatever here
cold or hot(350 50 min) your choice
ANTS ON A LOG W/O PEANUT BUTTER
celery
fruity cream cheese spread
raisins or any dried fruit
TON OF VEGGIE SHAPES(fruit works too but use a fruit dip)
In a large bowl chop up a bunch of different veggies that are good raw(make sure you chop it up randomly)
toothpics for creating
good dip for veggies
have each kid have a plate and create, pictures or animals with the veggies. when their done a dollop of the dip=snack!!!
cider beverage works for all (be seasonal)

1.) Im not a preschool teacher but in my sons class, they made a huge paper cornucopia and filled it with all the different seasonal fruits and vegetables related to thanksgiving. and put it up on the bulletin board.
2.)You can do the whole indian/pilgrim thing and make those feather head things with construction paper and let them wear them. All you need is a brown strip of construction paper for the head band and cut out smaller different color strips in shape or feathers. Let them glue them on to the brown strip then staple the brown strip so that it fits on their head. Find a story to read about indians and thanksgiving to go with the activities.
Sancks I'm not sure. Trail mix is always a nice and easy one for kids, Just some m&ms, raisins, dried fruits like cranberries or apples, etc, and let them make their own little creation. Apple cider is a nice drink to have.

Make an apple turkey. Take an apple and place toothpicks along the back of the apple and place colored gumdrops to fill the toothpicks. Then use a marshmallow on a toothpick in the front for the head.
