Who gets there first?

Roenick's a tally from 500 and Modano's a sneeze away from Housley. At the start of the season, most of the smart money would have been on Modano to reach his milestone first. Now?

Would any of you have forseen this change of fortune for these two guys a short month ago?

<<<< as you can see, I'm doing my little part in helping Modo find his mojo. lol

By the way, Yahoo wanted to put this question in pregnancy and parenting. Must be some sort of commentary on Modano's skating these days, I suppose

Update:

Erica, I think it's hard to hate Roenick when you consider the color he brings to what can, at times, be a very bland spot from a personality standpoint. Tonight's game could be a great one. Stay tuned.

And, yeah, guilty as charged. I'm a Giants fan but haven't ever managed to get on the Eli Manning bandwagon. I actually grew up idolizing Terry Bradshaw and still consider myself an open-door-closet Steelers fan. I would actually love to see Bill Cowher hired as the Giants coach next year as some rumors have been suggesting might happen.

BTW, both the Giants and the Steelers will have a crack at the Pats this season, so I'm hoping one or both can do a little damage to the New England express.

Methinks Mo gets there first. I mean, he just needs to pick up the point, be it a goal or assist. Whoa, is he goin' for the tie or the record-breaker right now? I don't know if he neck-and-necked Mr. Phil Housley's total yet. Being an avid hockey fan, and an American one at that... I should probably be ashamed of myself! I try my best to keep up with the West, but it's hard.

Hey, all those people actin' like JR wouldn't get a single goal... where'd they all go?? I mean, he's not on pace to score 200 points or anything, but he chips in more than I heard most people giving him credit for. Barring injury with a lengthy time out, this could be a great season for him to go out on, Cup or not, because he'll be in the 500 goal scorers club and possibly reach over 1300 games played. I like Roenick, by the way. Which is somewhat of a rarity with me when it concerns former Flyers.

Side Note: By the way, I'm assuming you're a Giants fan? Gah, my brother is a Giants/Rangers fan, the little traitor. Lol. He was real happy to see the Patriots squeeze by the Colts. (I say "squeeze" purely out of bitterness. I know Tom Brady's the man.) I try to remind him who the better Manning is as much as possible. Hmm, that wasn't too hard last season, I can't remember why though... ;P

    I would still pick Modano.

Have to love Yahoo and their suggestions where to put things. Yeah I could understand about them suggesting the Football section for mine, that is where I was just answering questions, but where the hell do they come up with them most of the time.

I think Modano. Last I checked, he's getting more ice time than Roenick, so the odds are in his favour.

I didn't even now that at the beginning of the season. I'm too focused on the Wings and there run for an eleventh cup. I think that Modano will get their first, seeing as he just needs a point.

Well, that's Yahoo for ya (stupid Y!A Nazis).

modano will get his point first but Jr will get his for the gw.

and of course yahoo would put a question asking who is going to get their first in pregnancy and parenting so many different race to ask about .... child driving us crazy who's going to make it to funny farm first. 5 y/o and 4 y/o race for bathroom who will get there first. both my wife and gf preg who will deliver first. and of course which swimmer will get there first
