I heard that story on TV. It's terrible what Yahoo is doing. I would not give any money to any paid services of Yahoo (as in fact I don't).
I want to add that Yahoo China doesn't allow all services to its users, some sites can be reached only using a proxy service (this is due to the Chinese government not to Yahoo, of course).

I read the story. Yahoo made a mistake, which is easy to do in a country like that. They admitted they made a mistake, and I am sure they will try harder in the future. The chinese had that person targeted, and may have found another way to put him in prison, if Yahoo had not helped them by mistake. I think having Yahoo in China is good, and may open up their minds more to outside ideas.
