Buying a Cavalier in Chicagoland?
Anyone know of a reliable place to buy a cavalier puppy in the chicagoland area? I know someone who went to Pocket Puppies and is happy with her puppy..
Any input is appreciated!

NEVER support pet stores that sell puppies and/or kittens:

Organizations that can be safely supported:

If you decide to go the breeder route, ensure that the breeder has screened for all genetic problems in Cavaliers.

Probably not a good idea to buy a pup from a pet store. The puppies they sell are usually from puppy mills or people breeding solely to make a $. Look in the pet section of the Chicago Tribune or Google Cavalier breeders. When you go look at the pups make sure you see the b*tch, there aren't several litters for sale, it's clean and the pups look healthy. Good luck.

This is not a common dog and one that you will pay a pretty penny for. Go on the internet and Google Cavalier Breeders , Chicago.
I would NEVER buy a puppy from a puppy store.

Stay away from petstore puppies "pocket Puppies" charge an arm and a leg for their pups. You'll do better checking in the Times or Tribune for a breed or googling for breeders in and near chicagoland area.

Stay away from pet stores that sell dogs/puppies. Goggle puppymills, then you'll understand why. Go to akc.org to find a breeder , or try petfinder.com
