12 AnswersHorses1 decade agoI am loosing my ranch in three months. I have to find a home for my four horses.?
They range in age from 24 to 18 and have been together most of their lives. I am devestated to say the least. I need ideas of how I can keep them together and who to contact so they wont go to a bad ending. They are all very healthy and fit with no bad habits at all. 31 AnswersHorses1 decade agoMy 17 yr.old gelding pony/mini constantly charges my Clydesdale.?
He is a rescue from living most of his life in a garage and only half of that time with one other mini. I gelded him as soon as he was strong enough. I introduced him to my other 3 geldings (big Walkers and one CLyde) and he herds the two Walkers around like they are his mares. He charges and challenges the big guy ALL DAY! He tries to bite his sides and one time actueally tore his lip. I am greatfull the other ones are just mello, patient older geldings including the Clyde, but its getting rediclulous. When I bring them in at night , the big guy is exhausted from being charged all day and run off. He has kicked back and even rolled him over several times. That little guy just bounces right back up and away he goes again. I cant believe after a year, he hasnt mellowed out yet. I am afraid I will come home one day and the big guy will have finally had it and one of them will be dead or hurt. How can I get this little Napolean to stop?
5 AnswersHorses1 decade agoHow old do you think is too old for two Little boys to be sleeping in bed at night with their grandma?
My firends grandmother who is only 60. is way too protective. She also is doing most of the raising of these two grandsons of hers. The mother (her daughter) and father (they are divorced) are still very active but circumstnances too detailed to get into here keep them mostly with the grandma. Its not that I think for one minute that anything innappropriate is going on. She still thinks as them as little babies at 9 and 8!
I think its not right! I think they should have their own beds. She says they like it and its ok with her.
Am I wrong?
15 AnswersParenting1 decade agoMy oilskin Aussie Outback coat smells musty , how do I wash it?
It was stored in the back of a closet in the barn and now it smells terribly musty and I cant wear it . Does any one know how to wash them? Its the full length duster kind. I sprayed it with a hose but it did nothing even after hanging it in the sun for days.
9 AnswersHorses1 decade agoA couple times a year my cat gets little scabs on his back, what is it?
He doesnt have fleas, he doesnt scratch them . They seem to mostly be on the top of his back near his tail and around his neck. He lets me pick them off like it feels good and usueally a little bit of hair comes with it. I have known other cats to get this too so I think it has to be somewhat common. I just would like to know what causes it . It seems like after I pick them all off after a while they go away . But then they come back after a few months unpredictable.
What do you think it is and what causes it? I would like to make it go away forever.
8 AnswersCats1 decade agoIs there a way to remove too much salt from my chili?

6 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoFrustrated looking for jobs on the Internet?
I need a job badly. I apply for jobs on all the best resume sites. Monster, Career Builder, etc. Some of them are such a fit and I get so hopefull. But after filling out all the information on line and attaching my resume....its just hope and wait. Most of these are handled by the HR departments . How do I get through to get a personal interview. I do great in person.
MY resume has been professionally done, and I have several versions to work with different fields.
How can I get noticed? How can I get a job through here? Do they really work?
Many places that I go to in person send me away because they say you have to apply through the internet -Web site.
6 AnswersMarketing & Sales1 decade agoMy dog ate a whole tray of raw yeast rolls.?
I had them on the counter getting ready to cover them up to raise and then bake and the little thief ate the whole tray while I was out getting firewood. I am assuming only one of my dogs got in on it but cant be sure. They are all medium to large size dogs. I have been watching them all day and they all seem to be alright. I just cant imagine what this is doing inside their stomachs! What do you think? I keep thinking they will continue to raise and expand in there ! I still cant believe it happend!

2 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling1 decade agoDo I have to remove the backing left on the wall after removing the wall paper?
I am going to redo it covering it with joint compound for a rough or creative texture and then painting it . So is it necessary to remove all that? Also, when peeling off the paper, it removed some of the paper off the drywall . What do I do there ? I dont know if it matters, but its in my dining room. So there is no moisture to deal with.

1 AnswerDecorating & Remodeling1 decade agoMy 17yr.old cat has stopped using the litter box.?
All his life I have never had a problem with this but now he is going all over the house . I am getting so , I am not sure i can continue to live with this! I love him and thought his golden years would be longer but I am getting really frustrated. My husband has threatend to , well, get rid of him . All I am doing is shampooing carpet, I even ripped up my dinnig room carpet that he was using the most. Now he just uses the whole house.
I have changed litter boxes, litter , keep it clean, all the usueal.
Do you think this is an "age' thing? What can I do so I dont have to put him down for this. He is healthy and other wise happy. Nothing in our house has changed at all.
10 AnswersCats1 decade agoI cant ride my horse away from my barn .?
I have 100s of acres to ride but he is uncontrolable when I try. I have had my four horses for almost 20 years and this has always been a problem. I bought my own ranch here 7 years ago and have yet been able to ride out of here. What I have had to do is put him in trailer and ride down the road and unload across the road at a neighbors barn and go out from there. If he hears the other horses calling for him he goes crazy again. Its not so bad if I have someone ride with me especially if its on one of my other horses , but they all take advanced riders and I dont have anyone who knows how to ride around here. My soulmate horse is getting up in years now (25) and is very fit and sound and I just want to do easy rides with him now but he still goes crazy if I want to leave out of here. When I have taken him far away I dont have a single problem.
I just want to enjoy some of these nice fall days without making a huge project everytime I want to go for a ride.
7 AnswersOther - Pets1 decade agoHow do i tear off the sides of my fireplace made of stone?
I want to leave the center fireplace there but remove the 6 ft. stone walls on both sides. This wall is in the center of my house and divides the living room from the kitchen. If i remove these two sides it will open up the area to have more of a great room affect. I dont know if it matters, but there is a fire place on the kitchen side as well but not a see through one. The stone does go from top to bottom and there is no seam on the livingroom side to cut away streight from the hearth.
