How long after first ortho. appt till you get braces put on?

My son went in for a consult and it was about 2 weeks after...you make the appointment, just like the dentist so it's pretty much up to you. Good luck.

You'll go for your consult and then it will be between 2-4 weeks before you get them on. You have the consult and work out a financial plan...etc. Then on some occasions you MAY need spacers which will require you to wait even longer before getting the braces actually PUT on.

It depends. They might put in spacers which separate your teeth so the braces will fit in. You'll have to wear the spacers for about maybe 2 weeks a month at the most. I think they would put the braces on when you get your spacers out.

After the consult ususally in a week or two. I'm pretty sure it's that soon.

There isn't a standard answer...my son had to have five teeth pulled and then wait six months before we started...a quality orthodontist won't rush you into braces.

Because you also need to take over consultations for your molds of your teeth and/or your spacers put it.

I HAD TO WAIT LIKE ABOUT A YEAR. CUZ ALL MY TEETH HAD TO GROW IN THEN THEY HAD TO PUT IN SPACERS.

it took me nearly a month to get it fixed.
