Having trouble figure out why the answer is the answer.

Derivative of 1 - x^5 over 1 + x^5

The answer to the numerator is -10x^4 according to my professor. I'm really confused on how he got that or maybe I'm combing incorrectly?

Could someone please walk me through it?

I'm stuck on a homework question.

Q(x,y) = 1.68x^2 + 0.09xy + 0.04y^2

X=120

Y=250

DeltaX=1

DeltaY=?

So I know to take the partial derivative of each so I got this,

Qx = 3.72x + 0.09y

Qy = 0.09x + 0.08y

I'm stuck beyond this point.

I just need to figure out how to achieve the answer.

I am stumped on a question asking me what accounts to correct in this scenario.

"The purchase of store supplies on account for $1,580 was recorded as a debit to Supplies $1,850 and a credit to Accounts Payable $1,850"

Is it me or does it seem fine to me?

This is an ongoing problem where the dividends, total revenue, total expenses are missing and I must find them. Please show me how to get each when they are missing. Thank you.

I just had an oil change a few weeks ago in my 2007 BMW 328xi.

I'm driving yesterday and it suddenly tells me I don't have enough oil and that I need to add a quart.

So today I add a quart and it at first tells me that it's full, then I'm driving and it tells me that it's low again!

Any reason for this?

I don't have an oil leak because there is no oil where I park it.

I'm 18 now and I randomly got eczema on my face 2 years ago during winter.

My numerous doctors have prescribed me tons of steroid ointments, pills, etc...

I got blood allergy tested and even patch tested for allergies.

I've tried every over the counter cream.

I am now praying for something to help me clear my eczema.

Nothing is helping

There is not one inch of my body where it isn't now.

It's on my butt, arms, forehead, inside my knees, on my ears, on my neck.

The worst areas being my forehead, neck and butt.

I hate being seen like this. I'm embarrassed and feel like people are disgusted by my eczema and I just feel so depressed sometimes because it's just not going away.

I take vitamins now and even tried tanning for UV therapy and trying a healthier diet.

Nothing is working!

Yesterday I tried to purchase build-a-lot in the Mac App store.

Well I had trouble getting my secret questions answered since it was my first purchase ever and got my account locked for a few hours.

I have no idea how tanning salons work.

The UV light rays make it disappear.
