What is a good vitamin or liquid vitamin supplement to take?

I need to take vitamins per my MD. I have had some in the past that caused stomach upset. Can anyone advise me on a good brand to try, or has anyone tried the liquid varieties? Thanks a bunch, I will consider everybody's answer!!! Have a nice day.

Update:

In response to what I need it for, I had a severe allergic reaction to the inside of my mouth and the dentist recommended a vitamin with the B complex in it to help aid the healing. Don't know if that will help, but that is why I need it. Thanks.

I am a strong believer in the liquid vitamin.

First of all, many solid vitamins don't have a chance of getting into your system because of what they are coated with.

If you have a vitamin you like and want to test it to see if if has a chance of being absorbed by your body do the following:

Take the pill and place it in a cup of room temperature water. Let is sit for about 5-10 minutes. If the pill doesn't dissolve in the cup the chance are pretty good it is not going to break down in your stomach either.

Liquid vitamins are great because they are readily available for your system to absorb and use. Some taste a little funky but you can dilute them with water or your favorite juice or mix them in smoothies.

There are some really great ones on the market now..

Good luck and keep taking your vitamins.

I've been taking Centrum for years now and it doesn't upset my stomach. It's a multi-vitamin so perhaps you can avoid taking a bunch of pills every day.

Also, be sure to drink plenty of water to help circulate the beneficial nutrients around your body.

Have you tried the drink, VitaminWater? It tastes great and they have many different flavors and formulas. The grape 50 is my favorite. It contains 50% of the daily values for most vitamins and minerals. Plus the labels have funny paragraphs that are very entertaining!! Cost is about $1.50 each.

Buy from Wal-Mart "One Source Complete Women's Multi-vitamin". It's in-expensive and comes in a pink bottle. Get the one with cranberry extracts.
