Should I do this fantasy basketball trade?
I would be trading Josh Smith for Derron Williams.
My team:
PG: Gilbert Arenas
SG: Kevin Durant
G: Josh Smith
SF: Kevin Garnett
PF: Emeka Okafor
F: Andrea Bargnani
C: Tyson Chandler
C: Andris Biedrins
Util: Manu Ginobli
Util: Jamal Crawford
Bench: Stephon Marbury
Bench: Jameer Nelson
Bench: Marvin Williams
It's an 8 team head 2 head league and I obviously need points and assists but am i giving up too much in Josh Smith for those weaknesses?

With KG, Okafor, Chandler, and Biedrins, you are in a good spot to trade away a player like Josh Smith for an assist monster like Deron Williams.
This trade can be broken down as such:
Smith wins - Rebounds, steals (he could average 2 per game), and blocks
Williams wins - FG% (I believe he will shoot around 47% this year if not higher), FT% (by about 5% which is huge in H2H leagues as Smith can kill you in that category), 3s, and assists (by about 3X)
Your team isn't necessarily lacking in assists (Arenas has started off slow but he'll get back to 6 per game soon enough) but it is lacking that one consistent assist guy (which there are few of - Nash, Paul, Williams, and Kidd are the biggest names).
By adding Williams to your team you aren't guaranteed a championship but you will be taking one step closer to one. Do the trade and enjoy the ride.
Good luck!
