Veterans Thank You! Will you Thank them?
We have no real concept of the price that has been paid for the freedom we enjoy. We can offer our gratitude anyway! Will you take this opportunity to say thanks to all our past and present men and women in uniform and honor them?
Only thanks please, no negativity.

Because of all of the brave men and women who have fought for our country for over 200 years, we have freedom, liberty and justice. Thank you for serving our country!
God bless you and God bless America!
For those of you still fighting in wars on foreign soil or living on the streets of America, you are not forgotten. I pray that you will each find peace and shelter and that God will protect you from harm.

I want to say that I am a USAF veteran with 21+ years in and still going strong. I have been in almost every conflict since Panama and it is always great to hear the general public thank us military members. What I would like to say is that without the support of our country we would be nothing. So I want to thank each and everyone of you that supports the people in the military!! If you enjoy your freedom; thank a military member... If you can read this; thank a teacher...

First I thank my brothers who have died so this country could be safe and not see war on the home land. I knew too many good boys that died.
Then the ones who through sacrifice for their country have been carrying invisible and debilitating wounds the public doesn't ever see. As well as those who lost their physical well being.
Then to the survivors of battle. American hero's all.
Also those who served their time in the rear, the warrior is only a strong as it's support.
And all the good American people that give the honor due their protectors.

Amen, and Amen! There, but for the grace of God go I. Or you. Or your dad, son or daughter. Or yourself. Or yourself. Rest a moment... Rest. Now look to your resources at the photos of Arlington National Cecetery. Do you speak German? No. Do you live in freedom in the most God blessed nation in the world? Thank a veteran. Thank a current service member more importantly. And STOP bitching about how bad you got it, brother.

I want to thank them for all they've done for me. I really take my freedom for granted. We had a Navy rock band come today, and they played some songs that almost had me crying because of the power they held when played by the Navy to remind us about Veterans day and all the Veterans have done for us.

You can love the warrior but hate the war. Everyone today knows Vietnam was a mistake, but we still respect everyone that was there.
I think that we don't do enough for our men in uniform or those they leave behind. God bless them all.

When bullets zoomed past my head and I returned to the States, I didn't know who or what they (civilians) would think of us in uniform...we were lead to believe that we were wrong to go into the military....but as I get on in years, I thank the ones that still stand in and be counted to protect our country, even if I don't believe in the war that they are sent to fight.
Good luck boys/girls.

"Only the veteran, who had experienced first-hand the horror of war, could fully appreciate the need for a true pacifism."~
"only for fighting for the principles that [we] valued could they one day enjoy a state of peace founded on universal love and cooperation." *
"One could never achieve peace by simply talking about it; one had to be willing to sacrifice more than a few chosen words and the odd poem for something so precious."^
Veterans, thank you for fighting for our valued freedom and principles. Thank you for fighting for peace. Thank you forever.
