The best strings on the market by far are Ernie Ball slinky strings. I've used them for over 20 years and actually got do a factory tour, which furthered my appreciation for the product.
Go with the green pack, Regular slinkys. I started playing them because Slash and Clapton play them. My two major guitar influences...Hope this helps!

I like them for electric guitars - ernie ball slinkies...for some reason, they feel really nice for me but that's just personal preference...

they're real good. I personally like them. But considering the price I'd go for D'addario strings. The sounds are great but more prone to rust if kept idle.

properly, large slinky are not as sturdy for drop tuning. incredibly drop c. i exploit widely used slinky's for drop d and classic. they are thicker than supers. Works sturdy for the two a sort of tunings. large slinky's easily are not sturdy for C. i exploit not even slinky's for C. the only undesirable element approximately those is they are merely sturdy for large low tuning. i attempted to apply not even slinky's for d and it did not artwork. They have been to tight. next time you restring i could get regulars or in case you merely want to play in C get not even slinky's.

most strings all do the same thing. it depends on the feel and if you like them. phosphor bronze smells and makes your fingers black but mainly for acoustic.

I've used plenty of different types of strings, and hybrid slinky's are my favorite.
i would suggest them.

I used them on my bass; played mostly heavy metal stuff. (Used either the med. wound or roundwound).
Crisp and full sound.
