ok so this girl at work who I am sorta attracted to tells another girl at work that she thinks I am cute.   Later that week she invites me  to a play and I accept.  At this point I am unsure if it is date or just coworkers hanging out since she invited me.  The next day she asks me if it is ok if she invites another male friend along.  Of course I say it is because it was never clear if it was a date or not.  Ok so we go to the play and I notice that this other guy is totally into her and since I am already offended that she brought him along I am like all yours pal.  Now at work she constantly flirts with me part of the time and then at other  times seems not interested in me and tells me about other dates she is going on.  I have already lost interest in her because I am way to lazy to play games, but can someone please tell me what is going through this girls head thanks.

It sounds like she thinks your cute and digs you as a friend but has not decided if she likes you more than a friend.  We humans like a lot of attention and flirting is an easy way to get that attention that we desire and crave.  But for a flirty women, flirting is not an indication that she wants more than friendship, just that she wants your undivided attention at that moment.  

The safest way to approach this is treat her like a friend, go hang out as friends, and get a feeling for each other outside of work.

she was totally into u cause u showed her interest. she wil lose interest after a while in u..
she obv made the first move but u didnt say anything afterwards cause i guess u not interested. well she was in u tho. dont lose her cause of ur pride
