  • why does my cat attack me?

My cat violently attacks me about every 3 months for no reason. Out of nowhere he will grab my arm with his claws and bite down as hard as he can. He is not playing and seriously trying to inflict harm, I am at my wits end with him, any advice?

  • Girlfriend is bisexual should this bother me?

My new girlfriend of 2 months told me she is bisexual and very attracted to women as well as men. She says she has only ever kissed a woman but enjoyed that. I am pretty conservative and mostly concerned that she will want to fulfill those desire to experiment sexually with a woman at some point in our relationship. She is not interested in any threesomes and neither am I so luckily that is not an issues. Should I be concerned that later on she is going to tell me she wants to have some sexual encounters with a women? I am only interested in being with one person in a monogamous relationship.

  • What does she want with me?

ok so I went out with this girl 3 times, I really like her. I called her and asked her out a 4th time and she was like well I am busy Fri. Sat. Sun, Mon. So I was like ok I see. I took it personally and texted her telling her I can take a hint you are not feeling it, no worries have a good life basically. She then told me I was too sensitive and she would make it up to me. She then made time to go out with me Saturday night, this came as a total shock to me at this point. She was semi normal acting and really affectionate towards me but then the next day goes right back to acting distant. I am really open and honest with people and never play games, so I don't understand girls that do. I can't stand the ups and down with her and feel like just writing her off again but before I do that can anyone explain to me what is going on here?

  • Do you believe in love at first site?

I saw this girl a month ago at a co-ed sports thing and thought she was the most beautiful, sweet, perfect girl I had ever seen. She started talking me and I felt as though she was interested since she asked me so many question. Because I am either a coward a fool or both I did not ask her out. I have gone back four saturdays now hoping for another shot but she has not been there. My question is am I being silly should I just give it up and move on, I am really sick of going and have no interest in spending my saturday nights there, how long should I keep going hoping to see her again?

  • Is this girl nuts, please tell me what she is thinking?

ok so this girl at work who I am sorta attracted to tells another girl at work that she thinks I am cute. Later that week she invites me to a play and I accept. At this point I am unsure if it is date or just coworkers hanging out since she invited me. The next day she asks me if it is ok if she invites another male friend along. Of course I say it is because it was never clear if it was a date or not. Ok so we go to the play and I notice that this other guy is totally into her and since I am already offended that she brought him along I am like all yours pal. Now at work she constantly flirts with me part of the time and then at other times seems not interested in me and tells me about other dates she is going on. I have already lost interest in her because I am way to lazy to play games, but can someone please tell me what is going through this girls head thanks.

  • Why do some Christians believe in a literal "satan"?

Since satan is simply the untranslated Hebrew word for adversary and is used in many different contexts in the bible why do some Christians believe in a literal satan as a personal being?

  • How can I tell if a girl is flirting?

I am so unknowable about how to tell if woman are flirting with me for sure or if they are just being nice. How can I tell for sure? I would hate to presume they were flirting with me and ask them out and get shot down. I have a fragile ego I must protect at all costs.

  • Girls help me should I respond?

Ok my ex girlfriend whom I broke up with awhile back just emailed me. I feel bad because I am happy the relationship is over and would prefer to not speak to her anymore mostly because I know it causes her emotional distress and am ready to date other people. Should I respond to her email or just ignore it?

  • Question for Guys (Walk of shame)?

Have any guys on here ever just gone up to a girl they have never met on the street and been shot down and had to take the walk of shame? Did it destroy your ego or did you just say whatever and walk away and forget about it.

  • Comments from Atheists.?

When someone asks a question on here relating to the bible I see responses on here from atheists that say simple things like "yeah if it existed" or "If it were not bullocks". I am just curious what is the point in that? It is fine that you have your own beliefs but if you are unable to give a valid argument or say something constructive you start to make your view points look unfounded and void of anything intellectual. Do you not realize this? Just saying someone elses views are wrong over and over is a waste of time.

  • Is Hell Fire Literal?

    Literal fire or Figurative Fire?

Sodom was punished with "eternal fire" (Jude v. 7) it was totally destroyed due to the wickedness of the inhabitants. Today that city is in ruins, submerged beneath the waters of the Dead Sea; in no way is it now on fire. Likewise Jerusalem was threatened with the eternal fire of God's anger, due to the sins of Israel: "Then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched" (Jer. 17:27). The great houses of Jerusalem were burnt down with fire (2 Kings 25:9), but that fire did not continue eternally.

Therefor is the fire literal or figurative?

  • did someone say hell?

For those who believe in a literal hell, can you please tell me the very first place and time it is mentioned in the bible. Why is there no mention of it in the stories of the transgretions of Adam and Eve, the murder of abel by Cain, the Deluge of Noah, or the destruction of Sodam. If true, how is this omission to be explained in harmony with the acknowledged principles of justice, to say nothing of mercy?

  • Are not the words 'satan' and 'devil' used figuratively?

Are not the words 'satan' and 'devil' used figuratively to describe the natural sinful tendencies within us? The connection between the devil and our evil desires - sin within us - is made explicit in several passages: "As the children (ourselves) are partakers of flesh and blood, he (Jesus) also himself likewise took part of the same; that through (his) death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil" (Heb.2:14). The devil is here described as being responsible for death. But "the wages of sin is death" (Rom.6:23). Therefore sin and the devil must be parallel.

  • Jesus or Joshua?

Since Jesus and Joshua in the bible have the same name in Hebrew, Yeshua, why is it that we call one Joshua and the other Jesus? *Just a footnote, Jesus is not the Greek translation of Yeshua, so if you were going to write that please don't.
