Looking for a sickle...?
A small handheld sickle. NOT one of the big scythes just a small sickle. Specifically a site that has them for sale.
Already checked the local hardware stores here and they don't even know what I'm talking about (weird too becasue I live in an Ag-heavy area)...and e-bay is no help because my computer won't let me access the pay-pal site so I can't bey anythng there so that suggtestion is already out of the running...

Search for sickle on eBay. They sell new, used, and antique tools. I have bought "antique" tools for my own use when I cannot find them locally. Try finding a new handle for an adz (adze). There is a guy on eBay that sells new hickory handles for them that are the best I have seen.

They're now called "Grass Hooks" for the simple sickle...

Toward the bottom of the page has a "Battle Sickle" (most likely what you're looking for, though the price is ... outrageous).

Probably more reasonable, though I didn't see any prices.
You might check (your city) Ag Hardware (yes... I know what city you live in... This is Hildulf), and ask for a "Grass Hook". They'll likely be more helpful if you ask by their new name.
Anyway... that's a place to start. And do your searches as Grass Hook instead of Sickle...
