AM noise after plugging in Ionic Pro ionizer?

I recently bought a Ionic Pro Ionizer and since then the AM radio in the other room has interference. Almost a squealing noise. Is there anything I can do to eliminate the noise on the AM radio? I have moved the radio and ionizer as far from each other as I can and the noise is still there. Is there any noise suppressors that I could buy to eliminate this issue?

You are getting electrical interference from the ionizer. Go to Radio shack and ask for a noise capacitor. This should solve the problem.
