ALL PARENTS OF TEENAGERS ANSWERS THIS QUESTIONS plzzz?

i am 15 and i want weights for christmas.

i dont want just big arms and to me a goun.

i am far from it and have no reason to be one.

the main reason i want one is to start strenght training.

and if one of your teenagers asked you for them for christmas

what would be your reply and points on why

it is in womens health be cuase i wnated mainly womens opions.my dad would probaly have no problem with it

    Well, I am a parent, but not to a teenager...yet. Being a parent though, I would welcome the fact that my child wanted to focus on their health and build strength. I wouldn't see a problem with it at all, as long as they used them properly and learned proper stretches and methods to prevent injury while using them. I think 15 is a great age to start focusing on your health, and I don't see a problem with a 15 year old wanting to be healthy.

    Let me tell you, I'm not your mom as you know that. So, if I were you to talk your parent, What's you want for Christmas? I think, you are 15 really great age to start focusing on your health. It is good for you for your health.

    Hey I'm not a mom, but my parents bought free weights and we all use them. It was like a family Christmas present several years ago along with an exercise bike.

    If you were my child my question to you would be - Why wouldn't I buy you weights for Christmas if thats what you wanted? Theres no harm in it. You want toned arms... the problem with that is?

    At 15, I would -- not heavy ones though.....just for like what you are trying to achieve. Obviously you know you don't want to overdo it at your age which is smart.

    i dont see any harm in it, a gym membership would be just as good
