My suggestion would be to contact your local state attorney's office, and request this case be assigned to the Cold Case Unit. Since we started our cold case unit in Florida, we have been able to close many older cases and it has been great. I am not sure if Escambia county has one, but I am in the 14th Judicial circuit and we created the cold case unit, adding investigators from the State Attorneys office and every law enforcement agency in this county, and once they are assigned they become multi jurisdictional and they have been closed. Also a lot of progress has been made in the last three years with mydocrondial DNA and other evidence we could not process a few years ago. Just ask them to open it as a cold case. Maybe something will happen. Also it helps to if you can get Crime Stoppers to do a Public Service Announcement on it asking for Anonymous tippers. And Crime Stoppers can offer a reward up to $1,000.00 if your family can not afford to put up a reward for information leading to a conviction

I am so sorry about your brother. I agree with Gem, but it's John Walsh, Adam was his son who was abducted and murdered from a mall in FL. Contact America's Most Wanted and plead with them about your brothers case, also put adds in the paper seeking information. Keep on the newspapers and news station to make them keep your brother's case in the headlines.
Someone knows something and by making sure that your brother is remembered and that you and your family will never give up until justice is served might make someone finally talk. I hope you will find closure and catch the perpetrators who did this. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Firstly, I am sorry for your loss.
And I am equally sorry to tell you the truth.
The "authorities" do not care.
If you gave them the persons name that did it along with fifty seven witnesses...They wouldn't drive across the street to pick him up....Unless one of you were rich....
The rest of us are on our own.
All I can say is to do what you have to do.
Because before any of us have to answer to any court in this land we must answer to God...I wished it were like the movies or the TV but its not. The sad fact is that the "authorities" are only interested in that which brings them money....

They might be pushed into action if you were somehow able to bring this whole
episode into the limelight...Publicity would force them to do their jobs....
Guaranteed a made for TV movie or a string of newspaper articles would get them off of their a$$e%..................

I am so sorry.
Have you contacted Adam Walsh/America's Most Wanted to see if he will do a feature story?
I would try there.
Again, I am so sorry for your loss.
