Where should someone pick me up at Newark Airport?

On the curb?? Because I think that the airport frowns on people waiting for rides on the runway....

You may be able to be picked up at the arriving flights area of your terminal but most likely they would have to circle around since the airports are very strict on no standing rules unless you are actually putting your suitcases in your car. Just go outside and wave down your ride.

Do you have a cell phone that works in the US? Generally I call the person whos picking me up when the plane lands and arrange to meet by door 1 , 2 or 3, by the baggage pick up.. That way your folks do not have to park. Good Luck BTW it starting to get cold here so wear your coat when you're wating to be picked up.

I once had a car service pick me up (when I flew on business) and they said to go to the Departure Area instead of Arrivals and wait by door four of Continental. It was so easy and less stressful that I when I travel for myself, I do the same thing.

The only trouble I had once was finding the right stairs after I left baggage claims.
