I have a 97 Z24 and I need to know if these tires will fit my rims?
Ok, I have a 97 Cavalier Z-24 with the stock 5 star rims on it, I need to know if these size tires will fit 235 50 R16, I know that the car takes this size tire 205/55- R 16 on it, will they be too tall? I am only asking because I really need a set of tires and someone has the 235s to give me and they are rather new tires, Thanks in advance for any answers. Please only answer if you know the answer! Thanks again
Well I didnt want to go to a tire shop because I have a tire machine here for me to do it! I just didnt know if they would be too tall or wide??

Why not take a tape measure and measure them your self? I would be more concerned with he width of the tire not the height. Take them to the tire shop, They are better equipped to tell you than someone who lives in another part of the country

They will be OK. The standard 16 in is the 225/50-16

they will fit however they will sit funny and wear funny due to the wall hieght and style of rim

i dont think they will. they might be to wide. go to a bell tire. they can help you better.
