Why are Americans letting their country, cities, and suburbs be taken over by Mexican Gangs?
The house, senate, and president was in total republican control whom YOU elected into office and they did nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to stop or slow down illegal immigration YET you just kept voting for them. As a matter of fact, while you were voting for them, they kept opening up the borders so that more illegals could come accross. NOW I can't even feel safe in my neighborhood anymore because it is being infiltrated with mexican gang members. WHY did you do this to me?

Your point is well taken. For years elected Republicans have in fact done nothing to stop illegal immigration. Of course the same can be said of democrats. Things do change in politics, 2008 will finally bring this issue front and center. So far the republican candidates have a much better take on the will of the American people. They seem more inclined to listen and do something about it. This years Democrat candidates have offered nothing in the way of border security, or in taking action to stop the flow of illegals. Political parties sometimes change positions, this is happening now, pay attention.
