It is a normal hard disk. Should work just fine.
It is designed for use in portable DVR applications, so it is very quite, low power consumption, and can handle much higher data rates to different disk locations at the same time.
( record 10 different TV shows at the same time).
It adds special features for video recording, and digital rights managment.
But should work just fine as a PC hard disk. Comes with the ATA/100 and SATA serial interfaces.
