Who do you think played a better God, George Burns or Morgan Freeman?

Morgan plays a better George Burns than George Burns.

Easy answer. Morgan Freeman had actual godly sounding words of wisdom in both movies. There were so many 'true to God' statements that reflected the characteristics of God in scripture. Not one good line from Mr. Burns that reflected anything resembling what God might say.

Morgan Freeman, definitely. He seems so gentle and kindly, but at the same time immensely powerful and stern if he has to be.

Morgan. Though Burns was good, Morgan was more likeable - and, funny thing, his phlosphy is more atheist than theist, especially in Bruce.

George Burns did God and Satan equally well.
