Mini Cooper Clubman?
Does anyone know if the 2008 Mini Cooper Clubman will be available with an auto transmission in the United States? What the Fuel economy is and the price as well... thanks

1) Price - Mini hasn't yet released the Clubman's pricing structure, but indicates it'll fall midway between the current coupe and convertible models. That translates to about $20,750 for a base Clubman and around $24,000 for a Clubman S

If you're getting a Cooper, then get a regular Mini. You don't need the extra weight of the Clubman if you're not getting an S. They hold quite a bit of stuff when you fold down the rear seats.

Yes, and with a choice of auto boxes. If you haven't been in one, it's a better car than the R50 (older Mini) in many respects and has a lot more room. The 8cm extra length is situated just ahead of the fuel tank so gives more rear legroom and a smoother ride due to the longer wheelbase.
