I have Win XP SP2 and I turned it on one day and I now have to click the log on icon I tried to change it back
I used to turn the computer on and it would go right to my desktop now I have to click an icon. Then if i close the laptop I get the log back on but I never changed the way I log on and there is no password.

Do you have 2 different users on the computer? If not then just go to the user accounts and change the settings. It should ask you if you want to log in or not. I believe. Could be wrong.
