Am I pregnant? (We love this question, right?)?
Just days after trying to conceive, I started having pregnancy symptoms. I totally blew it off as all in my head until I passed out on the fourth day! I went to the doctor since passing out is never a good thing. She said everything she tested for...including pregnancy...was negative.
Fast forward to today, which is a couple of weeks later. In the meantime my breasts have been sore (I have zero sensitivity in my breasts, even during PMS) and I've been a little "off." My period was supposed to start yesterday and didn't. Didn't start today either. Took a home pregnancy test...and positive.
Was the test at the doctor's office just too soon? I'm more than likely positively pregnant, right? (I used to work in family planning, so me asking this makes me feel like a dummy. But if you've ever TTC, you know how crazy this stuff makes you!)

Sounds like you are. You went to the Dr to early and I would take another one before you call again. Most Dr's don't want to see to until you are 12 weeks. So make an apt after taking another one in a couple more days.

Lucky you. Congrats on the pregnancy. i missed my period 2 1/2 weeks now and i am getting negative on my test. U need to check my question. Congrats again.

The doctors office test was done probably before implantation could even take place and the egg could start producing the hormone. I would say you are definately pregnant now. Congrats and go get a bloodtest to confirm it!!!!!

Obviously the doc was wrong it may have been too early to detect then but now its looks like its here. Congratulations and good luck ;) p.s. it can take 4 weeks before pregnancy is detected my sister was 20 weeks before she noticed =]

Go to the dr again just to be sure. My sis-in-law was one of the 0.01% that got a false positive on a ept. Chances are that you ARE pregnant, but bloodwork would definitely pick up on that now. Good luck! =)
