Could be worn or clogged injectors as well as all these other answers.

check your spark plugs
alternator may be going or some of your accesories are drawing too much power from the battery

probably a stalling problem. my oldmobile delta 88 had the same problem cause there both GM. it means the cars just about finished. with high milage gms its bound 2 happen. i scrapped mine

change the ignition module, it controls everything, spark, fuel, etc. it is going bad can cause surges in the eletrical system
