I have a problem with gay men who marry women and then sleep around and then tell them years later - "oh, yeah, by the way - I'm gay."
I have a problem with gay men who don't like to be aorund feminine men because it "embarrsses" them which only exposes their internalized homophobia and self-loathing.
But, that's it.
I love how I get thumbs down, you never thought gays aren't homophobic themelves? LOL! Get out a little and you'll see.

I don't know, but here's something Ive noticed, I was once at a hair salon to pick up my girlfriend, and all the time in there all as you could hear was this gay guy talking so loud to make sure everyone could here him, and trying so hard to sound like a blond cheer leader with an IQ of zero..
Now just this weekend at the mall two gay guys and a girl were walking around being very loud and trying so hard to be noticed by others, talking the same way and acting a fool.
Now I actually have a friend who's transsexual and she doesn't go around trying to be what she calls a flameo? Just because he decides to be a she doesn't mean that he should go around trying to be the center of attention and acting like a immature high school girl.
So to get back to your question, maybe its these flameo's trying to find there sexuality in public that is making people see gay as being a negative thing.?????

There is no simple answer. Many people honestly believe it is wrong. As other have said, some fear what they do not understand. Many grew up in a time when this was not out in the public much and society deemed it acceptable to call it "sick" or "perverted". People all have their reasons, but because we do not agree with them does not mean we should get irritated with them. That will not help, only tolerance for other's views will eventually bring about tolerance of everyone.

For some it's a religious grain it offends, for others it's ignorance, but it's a lot about crossing lines. People think if they don't stand against this or that then the lines will blur, and they need those lines to keep their lives ordered and on track.
It's all in a person's head. You could make anything in the world seem sick if you put enough thought into it.

Because that is just the way life is people are mean to each other I know a couple of gay people and the have been some of coolest people I have came across. On the other hand I wouldn't want to see them make out either. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Gay people aren't the only ones that get made fun of. There just happens to be more of them than the kid everybody made fun of in school. You have more than likely done it yourself but because its not a problem with most of society it's not taken as the same thing.

Because they have a problem with themself, and it makes them feel better to degrade, humiliate, and make the lives of others more difficult. I think they're generally insecure and selfish, and require constant validation and approval, and when others don't subscribe to the same set of beliefs as they do, or live their lives differently, they see that as an attack on their "lifestyle choice".

My dear, I don't believe many people have a problem with gays, as they are humans like you and I, but the way I feel is that it is morally wrong. I will not condemn someone for it but I will not condone their actions. I still believe in "live & let live"

They are ignorant. They have not been taught tolerance and/or acceptance of other people. Be the bigger person. If they start saying something you find offensive or feel someone else may, then tell them you don't want to to be a part of that kind of talk.

I have no idea. And I was talking to a gay person last night and she told me it is such a big deal to be gay. I don't understand why! People are people. Don't need your whole identity to be wrapped up in it.

Because they are ignorant and have such pathetic lives of their own they have to go after other people.
