is it time to get back into REITS?

Have the REITs bottomed out? are they on the way up yet?

    There are some that are better than others. Focus on those that focus on commercial real estate as opposed to the housing market. Look for the ability to sustain the dividend they pay and the number of years they have been in business. The longer they have been doing this the better, in my opinion.

    There are still lots of write offs to come. I don't think the housing market has bottomed just yet. This may be a good question to revisit in a year, though.

    No and No. We haven't hit the knee of the downcurve yet..much less the bottom....
