If you could ask all the presidential candidates the same true or false / yes or no questions,?

I have only heard one candidate this year (Republican or Democrat) answer a yes/no or true/false question without elaborating and that was Joe Biden. Most politicians cannot stop at just yes or no or true or false.

I am tired of presidential candidates who can come up with yes/no sound bite answers. And tired of journalists who ask simplistic question. It would have been enlightening had someone asked Kerry and Bush -- and demanded and waited for full answers-- if they could describe the differences between Sunni and Shiite Muslims and how those differences had manifested themselves over the centuries.

We need world leaders capable of complex thought and having a press and media willing to expose shortcomings in those who should not hold higher office would be a public service.

The question would be "Will you work to eliminate the scam that is the Federal Reserve?" Without these jokers and con artists, a lot of the other problems of America would go away.

One would be "Do you support giving driver's licenses to illegal immigrants?"

seems some candidates have a very difficult time answering that question...

yes or no doesn't give me any clues as to the thought process behind the answer. it is the and why part that matters.

Why give an illegal a license? Why would you pass a government funded solcialist care insurance program?

It is a wastage of time.
