The United States will have an open door policy for Chinese tourists visas, is it wise for the U.S. to do so?

first, the US government honored Dalai Lama, and now this. it's not a wise move for the American people or American economy. the US government is doing these to pis* the Chinese off.

why? Chinese government is fed up with the bullying of the US administration around the globe, and will stop keep pleasing the US and dump $1 trillion US over other currencies.

only the rich Chinese can be "tourists" and get out of China. when they come to the states, they won't go back to their communist country. this might relive the influx of Chinese immigrants to Canada though.

anyways, as always, it's not cleaver, but the Bush administration wants it, so they will implement it regardless of what you want.

My thoughts are we have lost the battle to maintain what our ancestors work hard to create for us. It's true that they came from all different parts of the world to the United States to try to start new lifes. They all had hard times making changes from their countries to the United States, but they knew the ways and how to go about overcoming the problems. Everywhere you look and read people are being given citizenship and given whatever their needs might be, while our own people are unable to receive support as is the case with these people that can't understand, read the English language are able to do.. How long does anyone know if an American was to move to another country, that country would go out of their way to accommodate them?. It isn't easy now days not to discriminate against these people that you can't understand nor get them to understand you when everyone should be able to communicate in the English Language.

Chinese citizens have been eligible to apply for tourist visas for some time. Any restrictions over the past few years are more a matter of Chinese action than ours. But they still have to apply in person and prove their eligibility like anyone else applying for a tourist visa. You can be sure, there is no way China is on the verge of joining the Visa Waiver Program.

i really don't think that we should be completely open our borders to the Chinese , however since i know than the USA and all countries in the world send billions to China every year i believe than it would be a good thing to allow more tourist from China so that they can spend some of the money we send as an exchange for their products .

i was just reading an article and apparently the number of people who will travel overseas from China to our continent will increase to 40 million in the next years . i also think we shouldn't forget either than the Chinese are one of our two main economical partners , Mexico being the other , so therefor we should encourage a more open exchange with them , perhaps that would encourage them to invest and produce jobs in the USA . my opinion would be the same when it comes to Mexico .

The US has no choice at this time. China holds the debt and America is unable to pay at this time. Should China demand what the US owes them we are bankrupted....they do not want this to happen...they are buying up American real estate in large chunks with the American dollar being weak against its currency. China has the upper hand as it controls where its currency is at regarding value. The US allows this and refuses to seriously confront them as we owe them trillions already. That is why poisonious products come to America from China unchecked and kill our animals and people without penalties. American companies would be sued and out of business, not the chinese companies, they continue unheeded, except for the laughing and jokes about how stupid the Americans are today. China serves us poison and we eat it! China controls America today, we have to ask them for help with North Korea, Russia, Iran and other countries as America has been rendered a paper-tiger concerning economics and its ability to protect its own interests around the globe! No debtor nation to the tune of 10 trillion dollars and growing is a super-power, they are a super-debtor nation on their way to the poor house and slavery of those who hold the debt! China owns America, it calls the shots...China says jump America....America says how high? Only a fool can ignore the facts.....America is being dismantled from within...it is being invaded by illegals and destroyed economically from its enemies who are building a modern day military as Hitler did in the 1930's, with former American manufacturing jobs and a trade imbalance that puts billions in the pockets of communist nations. Neither Republicans , nor Democrats will solve this problem, they both created it! America is in its demise! Its a bitter pill to swallow, but America has been sold down the river by the same politicians who swore to uphold the US Constitution and protect the American people!

Akluis said it better. No open door policy for immigrants. This country comes first and not the immigrants. Plus this country has the right to defend its borders
