seeking opinions...sex unknown?

Girls*which is what i really really really really want*

Aryn (pronounced like Aaron} Renee

Blakely Grace

Colby or Cecelia i have no idea what would go with that

Boys:

Seth Andrew

Jaxyn Cash <---- it is after the singer not monetary

Maddox Blake

Colby Randall-James

i have also thought of maybe Vegas my baby was concieved there c'mon Posh Spice did it so if any of yall have any Vegas type names all suggestions are welcome

& is it wrong of me to name a child the same name is as an ex ...the baby's father has opted not to have anything to do with the baby the name i like is after a previous boyfriend who is still a great friend...

Update:

every one of the names i have listed are after someone of significance in my life past and present...Colby is my grandmother's maiden name, Blake is my bff/cousin's middle name, Renee is my middle name etc...

Update 2:

i thought about the having to explain he's not the father part but so far people have liked the name Aryn Renee ... his name is James Aaron... and colby may be a cheese but its delicious cheese

    For Girls,

I like Cecelia. Cecelia Renee is very pretty.

I think Aryn, that spelling she'll have to explain how to pronounce her name.. so Erin Renee is nice.. and it's pronounced the same as Aryn Renee.. so just a thought on that.

The name Blakely I really don't like.. but if you reverse it and do Grace Blakely.. then that's pretty nice.

    For Boys..

I like the name Colby Randall-James.. and I like Seth Andrew.

Maddox, I think of Angelina Jolie's son.. and Jaxyn Cash.. I think of Johnny Cash.. and the name Jaxyn I've never thought was a good name, and the change in spelling.. it still doesn't improve it. (my opinion.)

As for Vegas.. it's kinda romantic to name your child where he or she was concieved.. but here's the thing..

If the baby was concieved in Aspen, or Geneva, I'd say.. great first names.. but Vegas?? Comes off trashy and very commercial.. if you do Vegas, I'd do it as a middle name.

As for naming your child the same name as an ex.. it is kinda tasteless. I love the name Christopher.. but I'll never use it as a name for a child, because it's the nameof my X, who i was with for 10 years.. and it would be disrespectful or look disrespectful for me to name my child after an X, and not my husband.. know what I mean? So I'd nix that idea all together.

Wow! Let me work some cells here... he whole x-bf thing doesn't seem wise. It would likely take some personal feeling away from your present relationship. And if your son asked about his name, he'd end up bitter knowing that the name only means something to YOU. Vegas, as it usually reminds people of the Devil's vice: Gambling, may lead him into that snare! If you take the 's' off the end, Vega may stand a chance. Aryn is a nice name, but the spelling seems to lack balance; makes me say "ARNY". I've always liked the name Renee. Has a nice flow to it. Blakely Grace.... NAH Colby for a girl.... NAH Cecelia is pretty and is a good first name...Consider this: Cecelia Renee.

Seth sounds a bit dark to me. Andrew is nice; can stand alone, but is a great candidate for a first or middle name. Has to be in order though! Andrew Blake would work; Blake Andrew may not. Andrew is good for nick names: Andy, Drew, Dre'. Jaxyn has that whole spelling issue with me. (sorry) No Cash! You know the singer, but others may have no clue... might make him a target! Maddox is a strong name, it's a good name. Hmmm... Colby... Sounds more like a name for a Race Horse than a boy. (sorry again) Randall is cool. Randall-James, as one connected name, not so cool... If James is your last name, then it works well as a middle name. Now, Randall (first name) James (name), works. My final suggestion: George...... Just Kidding... Consider this: Andrew Blake.

Aryn (pronounced like Aaron} Renee - prefer spelling Aeryn or Erinn to Aryn but it's okay. would like a different middle name. Aryn Cecilia? Aryn Blakely? Aryn Grace

Blakely Grace - I do like Blake on a girl (more than Blakely). bit it's not bad

Colby or Cecelia i have no idea what would go with that - I like Colby for a girl too. Maybe a more feminine middle name - Colby Janessa? Colby Alexandra? Colby Linnea?

    Seth Andrew - nice

Jaxyn Cash - prefer the spelling Jackson. Jackson Cash is great

    Maddox Blake - love! best.

Colby Randall-James - make it without the dash, two middle names is fine

The only names that I think are suitable for person throughout life on your list are. Seth Andrew and Cecilia. I think Cecilia Grace is really nice. Erin is ok if spelled right but is very dated especially with Renee. Blakely and Colby are boy names and are not suitable on a little girl, much less a woman. Jaxyn Cash is too trendy and seems like you are trying to hard to be "cool or different". Jackson is way better but still too trendy and done. I don't really care for Colby on a boy either. It sounds very weak. Maddox is ok but not very adult sounding, neither is Blake.

So, Seth Andrew and Cecilia Grace get my votes. They are wonderful.

Aryn looks nice but sounds like a boy. I wouldn't name a dog Blakely Grace (sounds like a stuffy English cross-dresser to me). Colby is a cheese. Vegas for a name is rude -- don't you like this baby? {Hey, you asked!} Oh, and the person who suggested Lockie Vegas wants your kid to get made fun of. Name the kid after a previous boyfriend so you can spend all your time explaining that he's NOT the father, that would be good.

Aryn Renee and Colby are nice, dont like Cecelia at all. All your boys names are nice what about Lockie Vegas. I wouldnt name a baby after anyone I know let alone and x but thats my opinion. If you are comfortable with it then go for it. Its your baby.
