How much does it cost to rent a typical suit for a high school prom?

My mom owned a bridal shop that rented out prom tuxes. So here I go....
Our cheapest rental was about $59: it included just the basic black bowtie and cumberbund. You probably want a vest, though.
Once you start adding accessories like the vest, and start changing colors, you're adding anywhere from $10-20. If you want a different cut of tux... like a longer jacket, double breasted, or if you want the tux in another color, you are also adding to the cost.
If you go with a name brand, pick out accessories and shoes... you might pay anywhere from $120 to $150. But honestly, if you stay away from name brand stuff... anything above $130 would be a rip off.
Hope this helps!!!!

My boyfriend spent about $150 on his, but he went in a full-out Zoot suit with the chains and all. Generally, they'll be around $100 but you can find them for cheaper sometimes.

i in my opinion do no longer advise to sound like a teenie, yet i think of a vest and a tie look warm on a guy. that is easily different from what another guy would be wearing on the promenade. yet sure, you may examine to be sure in the journey that your lady buddy is comfortable with it, it is her promenade besides....
