Buff1ne, why are you so angry?
you asked how to make children not be materialistic, i answered that it is how you live, children learn by example, then you write me hate mail, why, i answered your question honestly, isn't that what you wanted honest answers? you should think about why you are sooo upset at my answer, this is a forum to view all sides all opinions if you don't like some ones answer and are going to get so upset then do not ask the question, everyone is allowed there opinion, right, wrong, does not matter
i am posting this as a question because she blocked me from responding to her message and blocked me from her profile page, telling me she does not have an open mind and just wanted to get her two cents in. i think she needs to find a new site to go to, it is just a matter of time before we are all blocked LOL
thank you for the answers, asking her how do you live was not meant to be brutal, but i see your point, i think if some one asked me how do you live, i would feel good knowing i try to set a good example, how she took it, shows guilt i guess, it is a tough question for some to examen our own behaver and accept that everything we do effects our children

Haven't you learned by now that if your answer doesn't EXACTLY match what the asker is thinking, then you're wrong??!! LOL... try not to let negativity get you down & keep up with your honest answers. Most of us on here are truly looking for them.
You're absolutely correct though- everyone is entitled to their opinion & it looks as though Buff1ne's opinion of your answer wasn't favorable. She took it too far & made it personal by sending you hate mail (blocking you would have been MORE than sufficient), but retaliating by asking this question only drags out the drama.
BTW, while I agree with your answer to her question, you probably should've been a bit more descriptive. The way you worded it is switched in your question above which makes it a bit more soft. But answering "Children learn by example, how do you live?" is accusatory and a form of Brutal Honesty. I'm not saying that you should sugar coat things; I can often use a slap to the face with honesty when my thought process is off the rocker. Just put yourself in the askers shoes and take care with your wording if your intention is not to offend.
Try to enjoy YA and ignore anyone that gets personal :)

DOUG (Y) Nick bought a brand new channel referred to as Nick Toonsters - sky channel 630 - they usually exhibit the entire systems like Rugrats, As Told By Ginger, Catdog, Doug, Jimmy Neutron, a few others too lol Not certain approximately Angry Beavers :(
