Moving to Utah?

I am being relocated to Utah and I am looking at the West Valley Area close to Decker Lake, is that a good area, low crime?

No! That is a terrible area. For reference the juvenile detention facility is called Decker Lake. The jail is also in West Valley. If you are looking for a good part of the Salt Lake area, try going south of 4700 South or east of 700 East or farther anything from Bountiful north. (But not Ogden!)
