YA is broke?
Why is it when I'm trying to read answer, place or vote on answers YA is "taking a breather" but if I want to place a question it is suddenly working?

When you get the breather message, you should take one too. The system will be glitchy as Y/A updates the site. Just because one thing is working; it doesn't mean all other features are working as well.
