How do I Program keyless remote for '97 Ford Taurus?
My sister bought a replacement keyless remote on ebay and it came with instructions, which did not work. Does anyone know how to program them? Thanks.

I'm not real sure on the 97. However on the 2000 you press and hold the unlock button while you turn the key from the on position to the off position several times. Normally after 5 or 6 times the doors should lock. Your remote should be programmed. If this does not work give a quick call to your local Ford dealership. The service guy should be able to assist over the phone.

Unlock doors, turn ignition key off and on 4 times, wait for door locks to lock and unlock, then press lock on the remote, the locks should lock, then remove the key, and try it.
