Is it okay to prep a sweet potato casserole the day before you actually bake it?
I want to have it ready to put in the oven on Wednesday, but not actually bake it until Thursday.

I just made mine today and it is sitting in the fridge waiting to be baked on Thursday - I do it this way every year and it comes out tasting so much better than if I put it together and bake it on Thanksgiving.

I don't see any reason you couldn't prepare it ahead of time. What you might want to do however is do the full prep, including baking, then just reheat it on Thursday. This way not only will it cook faster, but the flavors will have had time to "settle" and become richer.

This is fine. As long as you store it in the fridge, it'll be OK. You can store it for a few days ahead of time, too.
