How good are you at brainteasers?

You have 1 boat that can only hold 100 kg. You have 1 father that weighs 100 kg and his 2 sons that weigh 50 kg each. They have to cross a very wide river without anyone getting in the water and they have no ropes. How is this possible ?

    Both sons go over.

One son stays and one brings the boat back.

The father takes the boat while the son waits on the bank.

When the father reaches the other side the son brings it back and picks up the other son and they both ride on back over.

Son 1 and Son two cross first. Son 1 gets out and son 2 goes back to the father. Son 2 gets out and the father gets in and goes across. The father gets out and son 1 gets in and goes to the other side and picks up son 2. Son 1 and 2 then cross to the other side.

Ofc . Let the father be A,the first son be B and the second son be C

First,B and C go to the other side of the river,B get out from the boat,C go to the first place and C get out from the boat, then A go in to the boat and go to the other side, A get out from the boat and B go in to the boat and go to the first place. B take the C and himself to the other side!!

The two children go first. Then one of the children goes back and gives the boat to the father. When the father is on the other side, the child who is already there goes back for the other child, and they go to the other side of the river, and they are all there.

Son A goes with son B. Son B gets out and Son A goes back. He gets out and the father goes. When he gets to the other side, he gets out and Son B, goes back across and picks up son A, Then they go back where the father is together.

The two sons go across (50 + 50)

    One comes back (50)

    Father goes across (100)

    Second son comes back (50)

The two sons go across (50 + 50)

    okay..ssooo...

    the 2 sons go over

one comes back to get the dad

the dad goes over, while the one son stays on the one side (so both sons are on each side of the river/lake thingy)

then the one brother on the other side rides the boat over to the otehr brother

    then they both go back

    THERE! :)

  • That's an old one, but;

two sons row across, one stays on the on the other side, one rows back.

Son in boat gives it to father, who rows across and gives boat to the son who is on other side, who then rows back and picks up his brother.

  • First, the Sons went first.

One of the sons went back.

    The Father came on.

The The father went off, other son came on.

    Both sons came.

    Easy

the father goes alone, then he sends the boat back, then the 2 sons get in. very simple.
