can i use the component cable on normal tv by using the switch component box?

my switch component box has four input and one output, this thing can plug composite, s-video, and component cable.

    The switch box should work fine with the COMPONENT setup. You'll get HD to your TV set using it.....

    It should be in color to start, It should have a TV/HD switch. If it doesn't, get a genuine Xbox component/HD cable.
